About Jim Brightman

Jim Brightman entered the public accounting profession in 1967. He was a partner in a large international CPA firm for over 15 years. Mr.Brightman’s experience also includes 10 years in private industry as a chief financial officer . By blending his experience in public accounting and private industry, Mr. Brightman is very effective in helping small business owners and individuals. Today, Mr. Brightman operates his own CPA practice, which provides personalized consulting and accounting services. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPA’s. In addition, Mr. Brightman conducts seminars covering tax and financial planning topics.  Mr. Brightman also holds a masters degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.
